The Château de Chambord

A Renaissance architectural gem

Recognized as one of France’s most remarkable Renaissance masterpieces and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Château de Chambord stands as a symbol of French art, power, and refinement.

Commissioned by King Francis I in the early 16th century, Chambord was first conceived as a royal hunting lodge but soon became one of the most ambitious architectural achievements of its time. Blending French medieval tradition with Italian Renaissance innovation, its design is said to bear the influence of Leonardo da Vinci.

With its soaring towers, 440 rooms, and the legendary double-helix staircase, Chambord perfectly embodies the grandeur and creativity of the French Renaissance.

Surrounded by a vast 12,000-acre estate once reserved for royal hunts, the château remains the largest in the Loire Valley - a harmonious union of art, architecture, and nature.
